PILATES & STRETCH

The main focus of the Pilates format is the "core" or "powerhouse". The muscles at the "trunk" or "center of the body" are strengthened through the Pilates exercise technique. Breath is coordinated with each exercise and helps us engage the working muscles, while keeping the "core" very strong. This makes posture & daily functional movement much stronger and more efficient. For the athlete, Pilates work balances high impact work and provides a way to improve flexibility.
